Clinical Coordinator

Sommer moved to Abilene in 2009. She completed her doctorate degree at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. Her interests include pediatric audiology and rehabilitation, electrophysiological testing, amplification and special populations. She also teaches undergraduate audiology courses at Abilene Christian University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her three children, baking, traveling and watching college football.

Patricia L. Harvey, Au.D., CCC-A
Licensed Audiologist  

Patricia graduated from University of North Texas with her Master of Science degree in 1987 and was hired at Hendrick Medical Center immediately afterward. She earned her Doctorate of Audiology in 2004 from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. She has an interest in the geriatric population and their hearing aids and electrophysiological testing. Her hobbies include Judeo-Christian studies, singing, playing the flute and enjoying her two cats and dog.

Amy Smith
Audiology Specialist

Amy began working with Hearing Healthcare in 2007. She handles a variety of front office tasks including scheduling, hearing aid cleaning, shipping and receiving, and customer service. Amy also stays up to date on hearing aid technology and helps many patients on a daily basis with hearing aid troubleshooting. Her hobbies include watching her two sons play football and baseball, and she enjoys hunting and fishing.

Linda Trueblood
Office Supervisor

Linda has lived in Abilene most of her life, having moved here as the daughter of a career Air Force surgeon. She has been a part of the Hendrick family since 2006, after having worked for a private physician for 20 years as practice manager. Linda’s interests include water gardening, decorating and drag racing with her husband, Darrell. She has been known to race a round or two!
